Environment Summary: 2 node RAC - 112020 (asm) - AIX 6.1 - EMC - AIX native multipath

1) 11.2.0.2 Grid Infrastructure install shows device checks for ASM as failing.

Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) shows pre-requisite checks for ASM devices as failing, during Oracle Grid Infrastructure install:

2) The devices are properly configured and according to the steps outlined in Grid Install guide for this platform.

3) This issue is not AIX specific therefore could affect other platforms (Solaris, etc.)

4) If one ignores these errors/warnings, the install successfully completes.
