Purpose
The purpose of this document is to assist with issues using the Oracle Scheduler system. With the usage of the Oracle Scheduler system, a very flexible application specific environment can arise, which makes it difficult to analyze unexpected behaviour. Therefore, it is important to break down the issue into the different aspects for a detailed analysis, to finally find the cause of an unexpected behaviour. There are many notes for problems with the Scheduler system, however, it is not always easy to find an immediate solution. This guide is an attempt to list some tips and tricks, relevant notes, known bugs and issues related to Scheduler usage and try to provide the first steps for analyzing, and listing the relevant notes dependent on the database version and specific scheduler part.
NOTE: Any feedback and comments are greatly appreciated. This note will be continually reviewed and updated, adding new tricks, notes, bugs and additional information in an attempt to keep it up to date.
