Symptoms

A schema level export fails with:

      ...
     EXP-00056: ORACLE error 24324 encountered
     ORA-24324: service handle not initialized
     EXP-00056: ORACLE error 24324 encountered
     ORA-24324: service handle not initialized
     EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

and the following errors appear in the alert log:

     ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [qm_init_uga_helper()+6464] [SIGSEGV] [Address not
      mapped to object] [0x000001058] [] []
     ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 2
     ORA-01410: invalid ROWID

Entries in the associated trace file include:
