Symptoms
Simple update statement fails with ORA-7445 after upgrade to 11.2.0.2; the same SQL worked in 10.2.0.5 without errors.
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kxccexi()+129] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x4] [PC:0x206C561] [Address not mapped to object] []
Also reproduces on 11.2.0.1, but with a different argument, qesmaIsInterval :
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [qesmaIsInterval()+6] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x4] [PC:0x8C65DDC] [Address not mapped to object] []
Issue does not reproduce in 11.1.0.7 and lower.
