ORA-00600 [17007], ORA-03114 while connecting to 9i database from 10g client (Doc ID 1316298.1)

Symptoms

1. Customer sees error "ORA-03114 : not connected to ORACLE" at sqlplus when tries to connect to 9i database from 10g client.
2. In alert log, we can see ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17007]
3. While using 9i client, there were no issues.


Call stack can be like
kglpin <- kksfbc <- kkspsc0 <- opiosq0

Changes

Installed 10.2.0.1 client for 9i database.
