Tools (OUI,CVU,DBCA,etc.) Not Finding/Listing the ASMLIB Disks (Doc ID 1320407.1)

Symptoms

Any Oracle tools for ASM disk dscovery (CVU, OUI, DBCA, ASMCA,etc.) not able to list any of the configured asmlib disks.

For DBCA example, please find screen shots attached.

Different Disk Discovery Path strings ('ORCL:*' or '/dev/oracleasm/disks/*' or even '/dev/sd*') tried, but no disk are listed.

Checks were done from asmlib side (/etc/init.d/oracleasm listdisks), does list all disks but DBCA is not able to list the disks.
