Symptoms

When attempting to execute an update statement against a clob table with a compound trigger,
the following error occurs.

ORA-07445: core dump [kxtotolc()+649] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x1B2A425] [Address not mapped to object] []

The call stack is:

kxtotolc <- kxtoropn <- kxtorab kxtopre <- updLoadTriggers <- updpre0 <- qkadml

The compound trigger is compiled in DEBUG mode:

SQL> SELECT plsql_debug FROM dba_plsql_object_settings WHERE owner = 'the owner of the trigger' AND name = 'the trigger name';

PLSQL_DEBUG
-----------
TRUE
