Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This note lists known issues, workaround and solutions for the following errors:

PRVF-4007 : User equivalence check failed

PRVF-4008 : User equivalence unavailable on all the specified nodes

PRVF-4098 : User equivalence not found for node "<HOSTNAME1"

During installation, error  [INS-06006] may also be reported.

Earlier CVU may exit after "User equivalence" check or reports "User equivalence check failed" without error code PRVF-4007

Result: User equivalence check passed for user "oracle"

Version of exectask could not be retrieved from node "<HOSTNAME1>"

ERROR:
Framework setup check failed on all the nodes
Verification cannot proceed

 

runInstaller may report error:

[INS-40913] The following nodes cannot be clustered due to user equivalence issue

OR

[INS-30132] Initial setup required for the execution of installer validations failed on nodes: <HOSTNAME1>
