Symptoms

JDBC program crashes with errors such as the ones below:


java.sql.SQLException: ORA-28267: Invalid NameSpace Value
ORA-02063: preceding %s%s from %s%s

at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:405)
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.processError(T4C8Oall.java:889)
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.receive(T4CTTIfun.java:476)

The JDBC client is connected to an 11g database and, in the same transaction, a pre 11g database is accessed via a database link.
