Symptoms

On running AWR against Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7, it reports high waits on ksfd: async disk IO which can be shown under the "Top 5 Timed Foreground Events" section.

Changes

In this case, waits were reported after applying PSU from 11.1.0.7.2 to 11.1.0.7.4 (for CRS, ASM & DB).
