Symptoms

The following symptoms have been attributed to this issue :-

1. EXP or EXPDP based export fails and following error is seen in alert log:

ORA-04031: unable to allocate 1207992352 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","XDbD/PLZ01TcHgNAgAIIegtw==","qmxlu subheap","qmemNextBuf:Large Alloc")
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 1207992352 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","XDbD/PLZ01TcHgNAgAIIegtw==","qmxlu subheap","qmemNextBuf:Large Alloc")


The error is reproducible in a controlled manner and is also seen even after a database stop/start has been done.

2. The number of bytes reported is exactly 1207992352 bytes
