When running the Interface Trip Stop (ITS), occasionally the ITS process hangs. The following statement as shown in the raw trace file is followed by hundreds of WAIT statements over a 2 hour time period:
System should not hang on this autonomous transaction. ITS should finish within a few minutes. Due to this issue, users occasionally cannot complete the Interface Trip Stop. The user must kill the ITS process and restart it to recover.
1. Execute the Interface Trip Stop for any delivery or trip stop.
2. ITS appears to hang; it never completes, user then kills the process.
