SDO_UTIL.PREPARE_FOR_TTS adds more than one TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$ in the PARAMETERS column (Doc ID 1333346.1)

Last updated on JUNE 27, 2011

Applies to:

Oracle Spatial - Version: 10.2.0.4 to 11.1.0.7 - Release: 10.2 to 11.1
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using the SDO_UTIL.PREPARE_FOR_TTS procedure as documented prior to exporting the metadata in preparation of transporting a tablespace to another database.
After this procedure is run, there is an additional parameter listed in the parameters column of ALL_INDEXES/DBA_INDEXES:
TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$

If you run this procedure multiple times, as if you were going to transport this tablespace to a other database, it places another TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$ into the parameters column.

Example off TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$ listed twice.

SQL> select parameters from user_indexes where index_name = 'MY_SPATIAL_INDEX';

PARAMETERS
-------------------------------------------------------------------
TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$ TTS_TABLE=SDO_INDEX_TTS_METADATA$ tablespace=SDO_IDX
