Symptoms

When trying to startup newly installed 11g CMAN the following error occurs :


The cman Log file shows the following :

(LOG_RECORD=(TIMESTAMP=29-JUN-2011 16:01:25)(EVENT=Failed to start listener process)(REASON=)(OPN=65)(NS1=12560)(NS2=0)(NT1=530)(NT2=4294967295))

Changes

Installed 11g Client software to a new home with "Oracle Connection Manager" component only.
