Goal

Why do I see these errors?

17:45:45.29 Err : SRV: 311520: EventID=5| Socket recv() failed. Error (73): Connection reset by peer. File: /jolt-tt/build/PreRelease705/VisiChannel/oc/src/vostcpip.cpp; Line: 638
17:45:45.29 Err : SRV: 311520: EventID=68| Failed to read request from client. Closing connection without reply.

In the above the "73" is the error number, note that different operating systems may use different error numbers, for example on AIX its 73, on Linux its 104, and on Solaris its 131.
Users should pay attention to the text of the error that follows it, in this case the "Connection reset by peer".
