Query Executes With Automatic DOP While Degree Of Parallelism Is 1 As Value (Doc ID 1341407.1)

While running a query with DOP 2, it runs with DOP 1.

For example:

create tablespace tbs_test datafile '<datafile_name>' size 2G autoextend on;
grant dba to bug identified by bug.
create table test2 tablespace tbs_test as select * from dba_extents;
alter session set parallel_degree_policy='AUTO';
explain plan for
select count(*) from test2 a, test2 b;
select * from table (dbms_xplan.display(NULL,NULL,'ADVANCED'));


- dynamic sampling used for this statement (level=2)
- automatic DOP: Computed Degree of Parallelism is 1.
