While running a query with DOP 2, then it runs with DOP 1.

For example:

create tablespace tbs_test datafile 'abc' size 2G autoextend on;
grant dba to bug identified by bug.
create table test2 tablespace tbs_test as select * from dba_extents;
alter session set parallel_degree_policy='AUTO';
explain plan for
select count(*) from test2 a, test2 b;
select * from table (dbms_xplan.display(NULL,NULL,'ADVANCED'));

- dynamic sampling used for this statement (level=2)
- automatic DOP: Computed Degree of Parallelism is 1.
