Last updated on JUNE 21, 2016

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Every day at midnight OEM raised an alert for Clusterware Status with the error "Checking CRS integrity...,,ERROR: ,Invalid data for OraInvHome,,ERROR: ,PRVF-4037 : CRS is not installed on any of the nodes,Verification cannot proceed"

Running cluvfy from the command line also returns the error PRVF-4037 : CRS is not installed on any of the nodes.

However, CRS is really running and all databases are online.  This is a false reporting error.

Looking at the file /u01/app/oraInventory/ContentsXML/inventory.xml, it has been modified at midnight on all the nodes.  Since there have been no changes to the installation is quite some time, the inventory.xml file should NOT have a new date-time stamp.

No TMP space issue like those detailed in the notes 11864343.8 or 1342547.1 has been detected.

Changes

None.
