Symptoms

"opatch auto" or "rootcrs.pl -unlock" or "roothas.pl -unlock" or addNode.sh hangs when there are many files in $GRID_HOME/rdbms/audit directory in 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure. $GRID_HOME/rdbms/audit is the default audit location for ASM connections.
