ASM tool to check access to ASM disks (Doc ID 1359873.1)

ASM (Automatic Storage Management), Grid Infrastructure installation, RAC clusters


1. You are trying to install or upgrade the ASM instance and its diskgroups or GRID Infrastructure Clusterware diskgroup. However, you receive an error that your disk is not available and therefore the diskgroup cannot be created. 
2. You have the diskgroup created, but wish to add new CANDIDATE disks. But, they are not showing in the v$asm_disk view.
3. You have a previously created diskgroup and now receive errors that the disk is missing.
