Purpose

"hcheck.sql" is a custom script available in <Note:136697.1> which can be executed to help check for potential DB data dictionary inconsistencies. If the script detects something unusual it will output one or more HCK* codes along with some additional information.
This article discusses the hcheck error HCKE-0020 , what it means and possible actions and causes .

Scope

This note is aimed at those with reasonable data dictionary experience giving summary information about the specific HCK code only. The DB data dictionary is complex and should not be attempting to be updated manually. In particular note that some HCK messages may be output for valid dictionary content.
