Symptoms

1.  When a user tablespace is offline, Datapump export fails with errors:

ORA-31693: Table data object "<OWNER>"."<TABLENAME>" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
ORA-00922: missing or invalid option


2.  When the SYSAUX tablespace is offline, it is not possible to export the database using expdp. The export fails with following similar errors:

ORA-31626: job does not exist
ORA-31638: cannot attach to job SYS_EXPORT_FULL_01 for user SYSTEM
ORA-6512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 95
ORA-6512: at "SYS.KUPV$FT_INT", line 398
ORA-39077: unable to subscribe agent KUPC$A_1_20080218230947 to queue "KUPC$C_1_20080218230944"
ORA-6512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 95
ORA-6512: at "SYS.KUPC$QUE_INT", line 253
ORA-25448: rule SYS.KUPC$C_1_20080218230944$1 has errors
ORA-376: file 2 cannot be read at this time
ORA-1110: data file 2: '<path>/<filename>'
