Symptoms



Adding multiple snmp subscribers into the 'snmpSubscriber' attribute fails.

dcli -g ~/cell_group -l root "cellcli -e alter cell snmpSubscriber=\(\(host='<server1>', port=3872,
community=public\),\(host='<server2>', port=162, community=public,type=ASR\)\)"
<cel01>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel02>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel03>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel04>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel05>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel06>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
<cel07>: CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.

Trying to  issue the command directly from CELLCLI command line also fails with the same error:

CellCLI> alter cell snmpSubscriber=((host='<server1>',port=3872,community=public),(host='<server2>',port=162,community=public,type=ASR))
^
CELL-01504: Invalid command syntax.
