Symptoms
Attempts to start an Oracle instance fail with the following errors:
SQL> startup
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00109: could not open parameter file 'disk$dedicated:[oradata.test]ora_params.
Changes
The SPFILE for the database has been created in the ora_root:[dbs] directory.
