ORA-600 [Ktspfmdb:Objdchk_kcbnew_3] Error After Purging Single Consumer Queue (Doc ID 1367366.1)

Symptoms


This error was observed on a Solaris 64-bit platform running RDBMS 11.2, but can occur on any Operating System.

Symptoms

  1. Errors: ORA-600[Ktspfmdb:Objdchk_kcbnew_3] and sometimes accompanied by ORA-8103.
  2. Single consumer queue
  3. A queue purge has previously been done
  4. The error occurs when doing a de-queue on the queue




The Call stack will be similar to this:

. . .  . kcbnew <- ktspfmdb <- ktspfmtrng <- ktspfsall <- ktspfsrch <- ktspscan_bmb

 

Changes

This can happen after an upgrade to 11.2
