ORA-600 [Ktspfmdb:Objdchk_kcbnew_3] Error After Purging Single Consumer Queue (Doc ID 1367366.1)

This error was observed on a Solaris 64-bit platform running RDBMS 11.2, but can occur on any Operating System.

Symptoms

Errors: ORA-600[Ktspfmdb:Objdchk_kcbnew_3] and sometimes accompanied by ORA-8103.
Single consumer queue
A queue purge has previously been done
The error occurs when doing a de-queue on the queue
