Symptoms
Using Database Gateway for DRDA (DG4DRDA) 11.2.0.x running on a RHEL 5 x86_64 bit platform to connect to an AS/400 or iSeries DB2 database results in the following error -
[Oracle][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]Not authorized to access database %s1. {HY000,NativeErr = 1243}[Oracle][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]File not found '.odbc.ini'. {HY000,NativeErr = 1509}
A gateway debug trace shows the following output -
