Symptoms

You have created a java stored procedure to execute OS Commands from an Oracle Database server but you encounter permission problems, are unable to read values for environment variables set when the database server was started, or perhaps get strange exit status from the OS command when it completes.

NOTE: Most have used the code in <Note:109095.1> even though it is clearly documented as not supported.
