Batterries in Exadata compute and cell nodes have learn cycles done periodically to fully discharge the battery and re-charge it. the learn cycle is manually scheduled quarterly to start at 2AM January 17, April 17, July 17, and October 17.
In rare cases, BBU relearn cycle may fail, MS generally reports the reason with exit status. The management server (MS) log shows:
