Symptoms
Datapump Export (EXPDP) hangs immediately while using OCFS2 mount point:
Some important points to note:
- Traditional export works fine.
- Once the process is hung, kill -9 at OS level does not kill the process. The instance requires to be shut down to release the process.
- An export dump file of 4 kB gets generated.
- STOP_JOB.kill_job does not clear up the hung session.
