TNS-4405 Exception In 11gR2 Net Manager On Windows7 Connecting To Active Directory (Doc ID 1371803.1)

Symptoms

Unable to access and manage Oracle Net Schema on Windows 2003 R2 Server Active Directory using Oracle11g R2 Client (32-bit) on Windows7 (x86). Using same 11gR2 Client from Windows XP machines works fine.

Error returned is:

oracle.net.common.dataStore.DataStoreException: unknown error
original exception message: TNS-04405: General error
original stack trace: oracle.net.config.ConfigException: TNS-04405: General error
at oracle.net.config.Config.bind(Unknown Source)
