CMAN: Remote Database Services Do Not Register Against CMAN Listener (Doc ID 1375897.1)

Symptoms

The output for CMCTL Services does not show the database services that have been configured to register. 

Oracle Connection Manager has been installed and configured.
After startup the OCM, the configured remote DB service (WSSO) didn't appear in the CMAN services summary:

CMCTL> administer cman2
Current instance cman2 is not yet started
Connections refer to (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<hostname>)(PORT=1521)).
The command completed successfully.

 

 

 

Changes

This is likely a new installation of Connection Manager or an existing installation where some changes were recently implemented.
