Why does NUM_HITS column in V$CPOOL_CC_STATS remains at zero (Doc ID 1376765.1)

Symptoms

The customer is using the Database Resident Connection Pooling (DRCP). Even though they have the connection class and session purity attributes specified for the DRCP connection, the NUM_HITS column in V$CPOOL_CC_STATS remains at zero, and NUM_MISSES column increments.
