Information in this document applies to any platform.
Your database version is 10.2.0.4 and you start to notice a variety of ORA-7445 errors occurring leading to a database crash:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghalp+0014] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0xF8E9DACB0101005B]  
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ïè+XXXX][SIGILL] [Illegal opcode] [0x1103DEFD0]

The errors began shortly after applying the the following merge patch:
This merge patch contains other merge patches.
This issue can also be seen in other merge patches such as:
Patch: 12818968 - MERGE REQUEST ON TOP OF 10.2.0.4.4 FOR BUGS 12636230 9949948
Or any merge patch that contain both the fixes for 8575528 and 7523755.
