Incremental backups are very powerful feature of the MEB. They save only changes after previous backup specified by an option. This makes incremental backup fast and small.
Incremental backups are designed for InnoDB tables. This means changes in table data would be saved only for InnoDB tables. For other storage engines MEB takes the entire table data file if it was changed since previous backup and stores nothing if there were no changes.
