Symptoms

DataPump import with parameter TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=TRUNCATE into an existing table fails with errors:

ORA-31693: Table data object "<owner>"."<table_name>" failed to load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEFETCH callout
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [klxpr_30], [2], [251], [8], [0], [1], [34290], [], [], [], [], []


The table has an XMLTYPE column and the source and target databases are having different characters sets.
