ORA-03111 in Primary and standby shows ORA-00368 at around same time. (Doc ID 1385098.1)

Often the primary alert log shows ORA-03111 like below:

WARNING: Detected remote instance standby database network disconnect
WARNING: Current instance standby database disconnect may be required
LGWR: Attempting destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 network reconnect (3111)
LGWR: Destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2 network reconnect abandoned
Errors in file /<oracle_home>/diag/rdbms/<db_name>/<oracle_sid>/trace/<oracle_sid>_lgwr_4534.trc:
ORA-03111: break received on communication channel
Error 3111 for archive log file 7 to '<standby_db_name>'

and on Standby, around same time, you might notice:

CORRUPTION DETECTED: In redo blocks starting at block 4097 count 2048 for thread 2 sequence 6960
Deleted Oracle managed file /<path>/thread_2_seq_6960.2777.765039925
Errors in file /<oracle_home>/diag/rdbms/<db_name>/<oracle_sid>/trace/<oracle_sid>_rfs_11705.trc:
ORA-00272: error writing archive log /<path>/thread_2_seq_6960.2777.765039925
ORA-00368: checksum error in redo log block
RFS[4294]: Possible network disconnect with primary database
