Symptoms


Applying the July 2011 CPU patch for 11.1.0.7 we receive the following errors:

It seems the errors come from the recompilation which is the last step in the catcpu process

Alert log shows:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [qmtRemoveRef()+101] [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [ADDR:0xC] [PC:0x8032A03] [UNABLE_TO_READ] []
