ODBC Query Timeout Does Not Work On UNIX (Doc ID 1386807.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle ODBC Driver - Version to [Release 11.1 to 11.2]
Generic UNIX

Setting the Query TIMEOUT does not work as expected using Oracle ODBC on UNIX. The problem reproduces setting QTO=T in the connection string that is passed to SQLDriverConnect, and set the SQL_ATTR_QUERY_TIMEOUT attribute of the ODBCSQLSetStmtAttr function. The query does not timeout and executes to completion.
