ORA-600 [723] in 11.2 With Job Killing Inactive Sessions (Doc ID 1388591.1)

Symptoms

Alert log shows dozens occurrences of:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [723], [...], [...], [memory leak], []


The underlying tracefile created for this ORA-600 shows:

******** ERROR: PGA memory leak detected ... > ... ********


The trace file also shows a call stack including function

... opidc ...

and freeable memory chuncks of type "Fixed Uga      " like:

  Chunk 9fffffffbd0767c8 sz=    38968    freeable  "Fixed Uga      "

 
The alert log also shows hundreds of following messages:

opidcl aborting process unknown ospid (...) as a result of ORA-28
opidcl aborting process unknown ospid (...) as a result of ORA-28
opidcl aborting process unknown ospid (...) as a result of ORA-28
