What is the correct way to recover AWT cachegroups that have exceeded their Fail threshold? (Doc ID 1391130.1)

Symptoms


The following information is seen:

1. From ttRepAdmin -showstatus:


Name : _ORACLE
Host : xxx.xx.xx.xxx
Port : 60252 (AUTO) (Connected)
Replication State : STOPPED <==
Communication Protocol : 29



2. From the ttmesg.log the following error is seen. It is extended over several lines here for clarity:


Replication FAILTHRESHOLD exceeded:
PRIMARY myserver ON xxx.xx.xx.xxx
SUBSCRIBER _ORACLE ON xxx.xx.xx.xxx
FAILTHRESHOLD 5
Primary Write LSN 359.23923800
Subscriber Send LSN 353.494725368.
Changing subscriber to FAILED state

Changes

This error is thrown if the Failthreshold setting for AWT propagation to the Oracle database is exceeded.
