Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.2.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On 11.2.0.2 version, when attempting to perform the following PL/SQL while authenticating a user with OpenLDAP:

BEGIN ztclogin.checkLDAP(:1,:2,:3) ; END;

the following error occurs:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [16363], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

Changes

Rrecreate the DBMS_LDAP package with the following script didn't solve the issue:

The customer was using OpenLDAP, the error does not occur when using OID.
Also, when using IP address of the LDAP host instead of its DNS name in the application, the error does not occur and the response is faster.
