Rman Catalog Start With Command Does Not Populate The Information In Repository (Doc ID 1394933.1)

Symptoms

++ Database version is 11.2.0.1.0 or greater.

++ An attempt to catalog the controlfile autobackup is done as follows and operations reports as successful.

RMAN> catalog start with '/dbbackup135/backup/ADHOC/FS91PD';
using target database control file instead of recovery catalog
searching for all files that match the pattern
/dbbackup135/backup/ADHOC/FS91PD

List of Files Unknown to the Database
