Symptoms
Streams capture aborts with error ORA-1280. Examining the alert.log file prior to the Capture process failing shows that the Logminer Builder process immediately prior to the above encountered ora-1422.
In the trace file of the Builder process, we see :
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows
KSV 1422 error in slave process
In order to determine the sql being executed at the time of the error / to gain a better understanding of the issue , enable an errorstack to be generated at the point of the ora-1422 error (errorstack , level 3). This will give more information in the latest Builder trace file created. This can be done using :
