ORA-27123 When Starting Instance With No Setting Of SGA_TARGET Or SGA_MAX_SIZE (Doc ID 1401726.1)

Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)


While starting up the instance with no SGA_MAX_SIZE or SGA_TARGET parameters, the below error occurrs:

If you set either parameter SGA_MAX_SIZE or SGA_TARGET, the instance starts successfully.


This issue happens after installing or upgrading to on Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit).
