Symptoms


During installation of any one off-patch or regular installation, you may encounter the following "make" error during the link or relink phase:

WARNING:OUI-67200:Make failed to invoke "/usr/ccs/bin/make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle ORACLE_HOME=§§ORACLE_HOME>/rdbms"....'Out of Memory.
(Bundled) cc: error 1922: "/usr/ccs/bin/ld" terminated with signal 6
