Symptoms

1. When attempting to gather statistics on fixed table ("SYS"."X$KTUSMST2") the following error occurs.

2. Error logged in the alert.log:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ktusmst2f()+328] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x72487FACE0] [] []

3. Stack similar to:

ktusmst2f qerfxFetch qergsFetch opifch2 ...
