DG4ODBC Connection to Attunity Connect Server Gives Intermittent Error - Lost Rpc Connection To Remote Agent

Using RDBMS 10.2.0.5 and Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) 22.214.171.124 to connect to Attunity Connect Server on OpenVMS Server 126.96.36.199 with the Attunity Connect Driver for ODBC 3.5 intermittently gives the following error -
HS: ... Agent SID = (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=hostname.name.com)(PORT=
1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=NAV_SHA))), NCR status = -2147385341
A DG4ODBC debug trace does not show any errors and ends with the following -
