DG4ODBC Connection to Attunity Connect Server Gives Intermittent Error - Lost Rpc Connection To Remote Agent (Doc ID 1418603.1)

Symptoms


Using RDBMS 10.2.0.5 and Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) 11.2.0.2 to connect to Attunity Connect Server on OpenVMS Server 5.3.2.4 with the Attunity Connect Driver for ODBC 3.5 intermittently gives the following error -

HS: Lost RPC connection to remote Agent...
HS: ... Agent SID = (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=hostname.name.com)(PORT=
1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=NAV_SHA))), NCR status = -2147385341


A DG4ODBC debug trace does not show any errors and ends with the following -
