opatch Fails to Rollback Online(Hot) Patch With Prerequisite check "CheckRollbackSid" failed and error code 30 (Doc ID 1422190.1)

Symptoms

opatch fails when rolling back an online(hot) patch:

  • Instance name in this example is "db202"
  • online patch applied successfully
$ export ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/b202
$ $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch/opatch lsinventory
