Symptoms

11gR2 Grid Infrastructure CVU fails on Suse Linux with:

Check: Liveness for "ntpd"
 Node Name                             Running?

Result: Liveness check passed for "ntpd"

Checking NTP daemon command line for slewing option "-x"
Check: NTP daemon command line

NTP daemon slewing option check passed

Checking NTP daemon's boot time configuration, in file "/etc/sysconfig/ntpd", for slewing option "-x"
PRVF-5470 : The NTP daemon's boot time configuration, in file "/etc/sysconfig/ntpd", on one or more nodes lacks the slewing option "-x"
Result: Clock synchronization check using Network Time Protocol(NTP) failed


PRVF-9652 : Cluster Time Synchronization Services check failed
