Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

You have executed the ODA deploy without setting up the xbond0, bond1, bond2 network interface. Now for several reasons (backup, middle-ware client connections, application client connections, ...) you need to configure them.

Using the "firstnet" configuration, like

It will restart the network ("service network restart")
on the ODA which will cause a brief interruption to the current connected users to the system (if the IP which was being used for connection is not being changed), and moreover "oakcli configure firstnet" runs on local node only

Following this note, fully applicable on ODA V1, you can configure your xbond0, bond1, bond2 without any interruption
