Symptoms


The following errors were observed in the alert log of the database.
The rman incremental backups were running at that time. The rman incremental backups failed.

Error in alert.log

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17099], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [_ZN20DccVsLanFreeProtocol21ListenOnServerInboundEv()+245] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x2AB5F316CDD5] [Address not mapped to object] []



The rman incremental backups failed with the following errors:
